Selected for the program following its recognition at the SPASA Awards, our Balwyn project demonstrates the level of detail and craftsmanship that defines every Feature Pools build.
Designed to seamlessly connect the home with the outdoor entertaining area, the pool features custom porcelain tiling that extends from the interior living spaces through to the pool surrounds.
This creates a striking visual flow and contributes to the project’s standout infinity-edge waterfall effect.
The carefully selected grey porcelain tile creates a sophisticated, contemporary aesthetic while producing a beautiful turquoise water colour that changes throughout the day depending on sunlight and reflection.
Collaboration with Award-Winning Landscape Designer Nathan Burkett
A key element of the project’s success was the collaboration with renowned Melbourne landscape designer Nathan Burkett.
Known for creating elegant, understated landscapes, Nathan worked closely with our team and the client to ensure every element of the outdoor space felt cohesive and purposeful.
One of the most unique aspects of the project was the custom-designed pool barrier solution, incorporating minimal glass fencing and modern Polaris soft-closing hinges to maintain uninterrupted views while meeting pool safety regulations.
The result is a refined outdoor environment where architecture, landscaping, and water work together seamlessly.
